DIRECTIONS from south:

Take the Waingaro road out of Ngaruawahia.  Follow past Clark Road on your left, Te Puroa Road is a couple of hundred metres after on the left.   Follow for some distance onto gravel and then take a right turn when you hit tar seal again - this is still Te Puroa Road.  Into the last gate on the left before you get to the forestry entrance barrier.
